My position as an instructor in the Mathematics Department focuses on instruction, curriculum development, assessment and advising. When in the classroom, my favorite courses to teach are Multivariable Calculus and Introduction to Proofs. I am a lead programmer for the quiz questions and assessments administered through the Math Emporium testing system. I recognize the lasting, positive effect that getting off to a good start in the first semester of college has on a student's undergraduate career, and support this through my role as the Math 1225 Placement Coordinator. I'm excited to be able to continue to support students throughout their undergraduate career at Virginia Tech through my role as an academic advisor.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, a professor in SPES, and our two daughters. We spend most of our free time hiking, paddleboarding and traveling the world!
