SURE Fellowship applications available now!

Are you an undergraduate mathematics or CMDA major? And are you interested in doing research in mathematics during the spring 2023 semester?

SURE (Speakers & Undergraduate Research Engagement) has a GREAT opportunity for you! 

Applications are now being accepted for SURE Fellowships. Funding is provided by the MAA Tensor Women & Mathematics Program which seeks to increase the participation of women in the discipline.

Fellowships provide $1500 in support for selected undergraduates to do research during Spring 2023 in the following areas: 

  • graph theory
  • combinatorics
  • coding theory
  • cryptography

Interested Math and CMDA majors should complete the short application by December 31, 2022, to be considered for this opportunity. No prior research experience is required.
